Warm your soul by the coast this Christmas
This season we are offering a range of festive packages designed to spread a little sunshine this winter. You'll be assured Award Winning food, quality service, warm hospitality and the fantastic local attractions. You never know you may even catch a rare glimpse of the wild dolphins in Llandudno bay.
Christmas Eve
Arrive to a warm welcome; your room will be ready any time after 2.00pm.
The Terrace Lounge will be open, where lunches are available and at 3.30pm a Traditional Welsh Afternoon Tea, with local Bara Brith and home-made biscuits will be available until late in the afternoon.
The evening commences with General Manager Mr Tony Burns' welcome Cocktail and Canapé Reception - a great chance to renew some old friendships and forge new ones. Join in the singing of carols, then take your seat for dinner with a very Welsh Flavour accompanied by a pianist and followed an evening of festive musical entertainment with our resident Singer.
The evening concludes with warm mince pies and mulled wine. We will be happy to provide details of all local Churches holding midnight services.
Christmas Day
Start the day with a fine Welsh Breakfast, during the morning we will be serving coffee and homemade biscuits and inviting you to participate once again in the traditional weigh in of our General Manager, MrTony Burns (who hopes to have lost a few pounds this year) with Chef 's magnificent Christmas Cake (metric and imperial measures equally acceptable).
Then join us for our Traditional Christmas Lunch, a spectacular feast with a great choice of dishes made using the finest, freshest local Welsh produce.
There will of course be plenty of hats, crackers and a special gift for everyone brought by Father Christmas himself.
You can watch the Queen's Speech in the lounge followed by a movie premier, pop corn will of course be available. Then it's time to just sit back and relax with your friends and family while you enjoy afternoon tea and a generous slice of Christmas Cake.
Tonight our chef will present his Grand Carved Gala Buffet, enjoyed with Christmas Musical Entertainment from our resident pianist.The musical frivolity will carry on after dinner with an evening of traditional entertainment.
Boxing day
After our famous Full Welsh Breakfast, you can watch the Town's Boxing Day Tradition - the Llandudno Lions Sea Dip! All money raised by the swimmers goes to charity so we hope our guests will join in the fun - if not the swimming!
100 people swimming in the sea is a sight not to be missed!
Afterwards come back to the hotel for morning coffee and home-made biscuits.
Buffet Lunch will be served in the Wedgwood Suite; you may wish to treat your family to an afternoon at the pantomime.This year Venue Cymru is showing Cinderella, advanced booking is essential and the hotel will be happy to make all the arrangements for you.
Afternoon Tea will be served in the Sea-View Terrace accompanied by an interesting talk on the history of Llandudno and the surrounding areas.
During the evening we will serve a Gala Dinner accompanied by our resident pianist.This will be followed by a ‘Night at the Casino' which is back by popular demand. Finish your evening by relaxing in the lounge over a fine malt whisky.
Sunday 27th December
After a relaxing breakfast, the morning is yours for leisure and pleasure.There are many interesting and exciting activities, from walking up the Great Orme or around Conwy Castle to just hitting the early sales at Parc Llandudno, one of North Wales biggest retail parks.
However you spend your morning, ensure you get back for our delicious light lunch of a selection of soups and assortment of freshly made sandwiches followed by a selection of cakes and pastries accompanied with lots of tea or coffee.
For your final evening enjoy your dinner whilst listening to our resident pianist. Enjoy tonight's entertainment where you can if you wish join our staff in a fantastic fancy dress competition, there will of course be plenty of singing and dancing to burn off those extra calories from all that festive eating.
Sunday 28th December
After yet another hearty St Georges Full Welsh Breakfast, its time for you to bid your new found friends farewell and for us to wish you a safe journey home.
You may decide to stay a few days longer from as little as £50 per person for accommodation and breakfast.
