The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh have picked April to head to Wales, by which time their grandson, Prince William should be back from the Falklands and home in nearby Anglesey.
Head to North Wales and stay further round the coast in Llandudno, at the four-star St George’s Hotel on the promenade.
The hotel’s no stranger to famous guests having hosted Churchill amongst other British Prime Ministers.
Until 3 May, there’s the ‘Arrive and Revive’ stay meaning that a night’s stay costs from £65 pp (two sharing) including a two-course dinner and a full Welsh breakfast.
